The second batch of Ardnamurchan Cask Strength is composed of 94% peated whisky and 6% unpeated, with a maturation of 88% in ex-bourbon and 12% in sherry casks. 13,460 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 58.4%.
Nose: Orchard fruit, smoked cheese, chippy at the seaside and oyster shells on the beach.
Palate: Notes of cigar box, eucalyptus, the sweetness of butterscotch and brine.
Finish: Ginger, hay bales and bonfire embers.
